Rosa Maria Zamarron’s series “Amanda in Paris” and “Andrea in Detroit” visually explore the commonalities of women, urban settings, daily life, and dreams. Created seven years a part, each series shows the growth of the artist from idealistic photographer to community advocate. This exhibition provides a glimpse into the nuance of time, the need for necessary reflection, and the pursuit of dreams in all of their superficially beautiful and profoundly complicated nuance.
