“Cottagecorps” is an installation by Detroit-based artist Margaret Hull, organized in collaboration with Eugenie as part of the monthly SPOTLIGHT series started in September of 2020.
“Cottagecorps” will be on view in the window of @eugeniedetroit from January 29 through February 28, 2021, and additional works by Hull will also be on view at EDITION throughout the month of February in conjunction with the project.
Margaret Hull is a Detroit-based artist and designer. Hull has an MFA in Fiber from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BFA in Fiber from Maryland Institute College of Art. She has been awarded residencies in Léhon, France, at AZ West in Joshua Tree, California, Ox-Bow School of Art in Saugatuck, Michigan, and Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont. Her work has been exhibited at the New Orleans Museum of Art, Cranbrook Art Museum, and Wasserman Projects, among others. She is Assistant Professor and Area Coordinator in the Fashion Design and Merchandising program at Wayne State University.
PLEASE NOTE: We are currently open Friday and Saturday, Noon to 4 pm, and any day of the week by appointment. Face covering will be required to enter the space, and groups of 4 people maximum will be allowed in at a time.
