About this Event
2020 was a year of chaos–immeasurable loss, struggles on all levels, racism and inequality revealed, and damaging social and political division. The Carr Center asked artists, What did you create out of the Chaos?
“With All Our Might: creating in the era of covid,” is a juried exhibition is being curated by Erin Falker-Obichigha and Carl Wilson and will feature 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, and time-based work from local, regional and national artists such as Taurus Burns , Cydney Camp , Danielle Gumbin and Brandon Sward.
The Carr Center Gallery is located at 15 E. Kirby Street in the center of midtown Detroit’s cultural district. We strictly observe a number of safety protocols in order to visit the gallery. Masks are required inside the gallery, as is social distancing and registration for timed tickets.
“With All Our Might” will open on Friday March 26th and run through Saturday July 17th. Gallery hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, noon to 5pm.
